Veneto

It wasn't all that long ago that when wine circles spoke of Veneto, the talk was all Valpolicella, Soave and Amarone. This is now no longer the case, as along with Friuli, Veneto is becoming increasingly famous for its Prosecco. Made from Glera, it’s now as much a staple in the region's weekly shop as milk or a loaf of bread. For us at A&M the aim is to find wines that excite and stimulate the palate as much as satisfy it. That is why we have included the wines of Zanotto in our list - his Prosecco is made today as it was a century ago, making it a remarkable – and delicious – drinking experience. We believe that in listing a still Prosecco we are completely unique and really recommend it as worth sampling.

Valpolicella Magnum 2006 150cl

89.00

This is the story and result of a couple on Amaroné territory essentially gardening on their 2.5ha vineyard. They are making the sort of Valpolicella they prefer. Light and less alcoholic than most with more tension & minerality. Compex but still fruit driven.

Molinara, Corvinone, Rondinella, Corvina
