Tastings & Courses
Our tastings and courses are aimed at those who would like to gain a good knowledge of the world of wine. Whether wine is your hobby or you need to learn about wine for your professional development, we can help you to gain first-hand experience about subject and to grow your passion the industry and culture.
Tastings
At Aubert & Mascoli one of the most important factors for us is to ensure that Clients are able to enjoy the wines we have discovered and learnt about, in a relaxed and informal way. Whether Corporate or Private, tastings can be arranged by theme and budget according to the event.
Our wine tastings are flexible and usually involve Champagne, White and Red wines. Tastings can be articulated around a particular area such as the Loire Valley, Languedoc and Roussillon, Piemonte etc. or if you like something a bit more in-depth, a head-to-head confrontation such as comparing Chardonnays from Burgundy with California's. Or for something more diverse, one of our most popular tastings is Organic & Natural Wines versus Modern Wines.
Where cheeses are required, we work with Neal's Yard Dairy, one of London's finest cheese mongers and for a more extensive menu, several of the city?s best caterers.
Courses
We offer the opportunity for small groups to enjoy no-nonsense, practical and demystifying courses such as How to Taste and Buy Wine or Choosing Wine at a Restaurant/Pairing food with Wine.
A more technical angle can also be approached with subjects like Natural Influences and Terroir, Vine Cultivation, From Grape to Vine, Faults in Wine and Wine and Oak.
Wine courses include tasting packs and food where applicable.
